Hi Rob,

I've found another problem:
One of my locs (S3/6 beige) has a delta decoder build in. I've configured it in the ib-com as Motorola neu ( see screen shot ), but the trace file shows a DCC 14 step decoder.

LocoNet does not support motorola 14 steps; only 28.

According to the manual of the ib-com:

Verschiedene Datenformate
Mit der IB-Com können Lok-, Funktions- und Weichendecoder

Folgende Lokdatenformate können gleichzeitig genutzt werden:
Motorola-Datenformat
Uhlenbrock, Märklin, Viessmann
Erweitertes Motorola-Datenformat (Spur I)
Uhlenbrock, Märklin Wechselstrom Spur-I-Format
DCC-Datenformat
Uhlenbrock, Märklin Gleichstrom, Arnold, Digitrax, Lenz, LGB, Roco
und alle DCC-kompatiblen Decoder.
9999 Decoderadressen und 128 Fahrstufen
Die IB-Com unterstützt alle Adressen und Fahrstufen der einzelnen
Decoderfabrikate.
Märklin-Motorola-Decoder
80 Adressen, 14 Fahrstufen
Uhlenbrock-Motorola-Decoder
255 Adressen, 14 Fahrstufen
Uhlenbrock-DCC-Decoder
9999 Adressen, 14, 28 und 128 Fahrstufen
IB-COM - Kap. 1.2-
DCC-kompatible Decoder
99-9999 Adressen, 14, 28, 128 Fahrstufen, je nach Typ



So ib-com supports only motorola 14 steps!
I don't think it is a problem, because the ib-com determines the loc control, the only thing not so nice is the entry in the trace file.

Trinary == Motorola
