Programming LocoNet CVs (LNCV) ??

Postby AndreasB » 17.02.2012, 23:17

Hello,

With GCA85 you can control (almost) all LocoNet modules from any manufacturer. Some offer the possibility to program the setup by LNCVs.
I got the hint that RocRail can be used. But in RocRail I only find the menu for a very small and selected set of controllers.
Is there a possibility to program any LocoNet module by LNCVs which is offering that method?

Yours
Andreas

Hi Andreas,

first you have to enable the LocoNet SV Tab, see http://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=rocgui-pt-en: In Rocview select File / Rocview properties... / Programming and mark the check-box "LocoNet SV Tab".
After restarting Rocview you'll find the tab on top of the LocoPanel (the one with the clock).

What you have to do there is a different story - I found no explanation at all. What is the "Key", what does the button "Detect" do and so on? :?

Hi Rob,

I twice tried to attach the picture of the screen shot. Then I clicked on "Add Attachment". But as you see: No Attachment.
So, no idea, why it didn't work in that forum.
