Resume function.

Resume function.

Postby smitt48 » 29.09.2017, 14:04

Hi Rob,

I used the "Resume Function" for the first time.
http://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=roc ... e_all_locs
I added the note to wiki, as I noticed more locs than the locs I used, tried to run. It looked like all locs in blocks wanted to take off.
Is it possible to create a resume function, where only the ones from the previous session are started. It really helps with testing. Currently I test with 5 locs while the other ones are placed in blocks (to prevent access during testing, yes I could have closed them).
As always no hurry, no showstopper, but nice to have. :D

Hi Tom,

please do not change the Wiki in case you have problems with a function...
Best Regards, Rob.

Hi Tom,

if a loco is in automatic mode, and it becomes a stop command, this loco will set its resume flag.
So if you stop some locos in a session they will resume.

Hi Rob,

A loc that I haven't used in weeks, and was not even physically on the layout, ( I had placed in a block, just to show the block occupied) started and reserved a block.
Resume should be resumption of the previous session not of any session before that.

Hi Rob,

Just tested with 12573.
Resume did not work at all, I assumed it was because the logic changed. I will try again in a subsequent session.

Thanks Tom

Edit might not work yet due to Rocrail error see other post.
