(operator education) Mode command * (resume)

(operator education) Mode command * (resume)

Postby smitt48 » 18.10.2017, 20:13

Hi

Mode
Character Meaning
* Flagged for resume auto mode at next session.

When does this character (*) get generated.
I normally stop the automatic system by "switch auto mode off". I noticed the * is not added to the mode field. I assume that therefore the "resume all locs" does not work.
Is there a better way to stop the automode system? Does it work in virtual mode?

Thanks Tom

Hi,

Are there no other users that use "Resume"?
It does not seem to work anymore.

Try Stop all locos.
Only in this case the resume flag will be set.
Best Regards, Rob.

Hi Rob,

Can you check the Resume function one more time, I can;t get it to work.
Session 1, I use Automatic->Stop all Locs, I see the * appearing by the relevant Locs
I stop Rocrail.
Session 2, I use Automatic->Resume all locs nothing happens. Probably because the * aren't there anymore.

Thanks Tom

Hi Rob,

Works as designed.

OK!
How is it designed?
Like I described?
Session 1, I use Automatic->Stop all Locs, I see the * appearing by the relevant Locs
stop Rocrail.
Session 2, I use Automatic->Resume

Under 2, are you still supposed to see the *? Because I don't.
Is it written in Loc file, plan file or ini?

Thanks Tom
Edit, by stopping Rocrail, I mean close Rocrail.

Hi Rob,

Not sure you saw my last entry.
Does the resume function work, after Rocrail has been re-started? For example the next day? Or does resume only work as long as Rocrail is running and you start a second session?

Thanks Tom
