Rob,
Yeah I know, and understand the intention of limiting the access to the code.
I followed the code for a while and was due to my job unable to focus on my modeltrain for the last 3 years.
Now finding some time again and was interested in building the from source again on my home server, while i am using it to coach my son on programming techniques, too.
Would appreciate if you can continue to grant me read only access.

Thanks
Chris

Hi Rob,

can you please give me access to the sources?
I'm still about to get Rocrail running with my own hardware and therefore a view into the souces will be very informative for me.

thanks,
Bastian

Source Code

Postby rjversluis » 12.02.2016, 08:46

After login to the source repository you automatically agree with the following restrictions:
Source code access is for building locally only.
It is prohibited to publish the source code and/or the repository link.
In case your source access is disabled, you must delete your local copy of the sources.
Best Regards, Rob.

The Rocrail meeting was interesting in Langenfeld, we meet al lot of friends again.
As I ask you by Skype, can you please give me access to the rocrail code to compile.

Best greetings from Bremen

Hi Rob

I have already contributed some minor changes to rocrail.
Now I would like to have access to the source code to add support for my own hardware.

Hi Rob,

I would like to have access to the code so I can compile and run it on my Fedora/CentOS laptop. I have tried to run the Windows version under wine but it does not work well. OTOH, The OpenSUSE RPM package has a strange dependency on distribution-specific library and it is not usable either.

At the end I would like to provide a more distribution-neutral RPM-spec so that we can easily build RPMs for several distributions. I am a newbie on RocRail but I have ben a Linux System Manager for many years (more than I would like to recognize... )

TIA.

Cheers,

Evili

Hi Rob

I want to install the Rocrail in a Raspberry Pi I own.

I use Debian, but I can change to any other OS if you prefer it.

My idea is to carry it to he modules meetings (www.cimh0.org), establish a link to our LocoNet system and access with andRoc to control locos and RocView to control stations

I know I should pot here my petition
