Critical section in Modular layout

Moderator: Moderators

Hello, I tried a different solution. Deleted all module connection e define in separate file route between modules....same problem don't find destination...

For rotation I have simple solution :D :
1) create a global layout and test automated mode, save backup global plan file
2) delete all rotation from global layout
3) in tabview we have a right direction for all modules. Most important for manual mode.
4) in automated mode restart rocrail whit different plan file were modules are rotated.
Not the best way but work.

Other clubs are using the modular layout support of rocrail without any issue, and I'm using it my self.
It must be a mis understanding and I suggest to create a reduced example setup to use for further investigations.

And do not forget: I want to help you but I can't put all my time in this issue so you must prepare things for me to get it reproduced quickly.
Best Regards, Rob.

Status Quo: This is not possible.

But I have solved this in my layout with module routes; From mod6 to mod1 over mod2,3,4.

Rob, I think ...I solved need more test with schedule. But with manual "Set destination" now work. how ? I have to change some loco direction of "connection" route in module. I'm not sure why I need this... I post files...I suggest you to see if you have free time :)

Future planning for block group & critical section in modular layout ?

The need of block groups could be a layout design problem.
Do not forget to form logical modules; Some modules are always used in the same combination and should therefor be one module in Rocrail.

Why ? I woud like define "with hand" not auto-generated block group and save group in global route file.

I agree with you....so my design use this rules. Example:
- Borgo Sulserio is 4 modules but only one in Rocrail.
- there are 4 route for any direction, totally 8, fixed in module.
- important! Route manage signal for Italian signalling (remember other posts)
Critical section is connection between Borgo Sulserio and Misato , how manage without ?

Hi Buddace,

If the blocks are making sense you need block groups.
I will check if it can be saved in the global routes file.
