Lenz user wanted for a small test.

Is someone using a Lenz Control Station and is willing to do a small test concerning switch addressing?

Just tell me what to do. It's right, something is strange about the adressing, but i could not figure it out :(

Rocrail's addressing is NMRA conform:

- first decoder address is 1
- every decoder has 4 pairs of outputs numbered from 1 to 4 with gate GREEN/RED

if you address in Rocrail decoder address 1 and output pair 1 to 4, which switches are actually set?

Allright, it's really srange:

- if i adress a switch with 1,1 which should be switch 1 in lenz system nothing happens, the interface says:turnout 1 0 straight/turnout

- if i adress the decoder with adress 13 and put in in rocrail to 3 1 the switch is operating but the controller window says: turnout 3 0 straight/turnout

- switchgroup 2 is working as well as expected and the ones above i guess as well.

it's just the first switchgroup that is acting strange. if i put them on 0,x in rochrail they are working

and the output number is in rocgui allways x-1.

I hope this helps?

Solved

Postby jeanmichel » 04.04.2008, 08:08

Hi, I have found the problem. and fixed it.

All TRCLEVEL_* outputs regarding turnouts should now show the numbers one enters in the turnout interface thing in rocgui (and of course in the xml).

It is not possible to delete Attatchments! So i just dont know which one is the right file ...

The right one is where line 182 is:

wSwitch.setaddr1( nodeC, ( addr+1 ));

or the newer one ...

Good work both of you. Very much appreciated.
I am pleased that the glitch you got was the same as we are seeing, including the GUI offset.
Next you have to guide me through how to install the fix please.
Then I have to reprogramme all address-ports per the manual.

Okay, I did some :coding: and now it's possible to delete attachments.

Please report these problems also in the appropriate post as mentioned by Jean Michel. It makes it a little bit easier to find and react on these issues ...
