Runing FireFox 3.0.1 brings an error:

Security Error: Content at file:////home/rob/sf/Rocrail/unxbin/streets-doc.xml may not load data from file:////home/rob/sf/Rocrail/unxbin/stylesheets/streets_en.xsl.

WHich settings must I change in the FireFox Preferences?

Hi Rob,

I've found the following articles and solutions :?: :?: :

http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Lin ... o+not+work

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Links_to_loca ... n%27t_work

I haven't had the chance to test the described workaround, but I will give it a try tonight.

Regards,
Dirk

Okay, the last link provides the solution.

Step by step:

- open FireFox
- open the URL about:config
- accept the nice warning (as usual ;-) )
- search for the preference security.fileuri.strict_origin_policy
- change it to false by double clicking the corresponding line
- close Firefox
- try it again

It's working like a charme on Vista ...

Regards,
Dirk

Okay, the workaround is now also documented in the corresponding English and German chapters of the Wiki.

BTW, Firefox on Windows (Vista) just shows an empty page ...

Best regards,
Dirk

Thanks Dirk,

but FireFox, running with Ubuntu 8.04, does not have an entry About->Config...

OK, after setting this property by text editor in the prefs.js it now shows the report.

Thanks again.

It does ...

It's not a menu, it's a URL.

Best regards,
Dirk

Update: I've changed my previous post and the wiki regarding the URL about:config

ARGH!
I've over seen that it was an URL!

I'm using firefox. Do I have to modify stylesheets on commandline, or do you have tool for it?

Greetings Joern

Hi Jörn,
you can use any editor of your choice. My recommendation would be N++.

Dirk

Hi Jörn,

here the schedules-de.xml from the Rocrail Windows Version. Includes "Ortschaft" and "frei vor Start".
