Hi Robert,

with andRoc 392 you can define the increment on the options page:
http://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=and ... en#options
You must disable the "Use all speed steps" option.
Best Regards, Rob.

Hi to all,

I just looked at the new feature in Androc in the demo-mode.
I appreciate it.

However, i have a suggestion, that could be discussed.

Increasing the speed from 0 to 100 in steps of 5 takes 20 clicks.

What if a long press would start increasing the speed after a second, and would continue increasing it at a fixed rate until the button is released?

This rate could be for example 2 clicks per second, maybe this rate could even be configurable by the user in the options. Optionally, the rate could be increased when the long press persists.

That way, the buttons could be used for shuntig (short ticks of less than one second) (i.e. the original scope of this post), but you could also use the buttons for normal service.

What do you think about this?

Hi Christian,

auto increment is already implemented but seems only to work in the simulator and not in a real device... I must debug it.
Best Regards, Rob.

Shunting with Smartphone App.

Thanks to Rob, the mobile phone app throttle control works like a charm when using the UP and DOWN buttons for shunting.

Attached a video showing this.

Hi Ralph,

I do not know.
In fact both iRoc and padRoc should be merged together in one App to reduce the maintenance effort. But this has low priority and needs lots of free time...
