Re: Critical section Example? Deadlock

Thanks Tom and Rob,

Rob for the info - WIKI is somwhat shorthand. Newbies may have probs reading it as I did?

Tom for updating on the example which would have helped a lot.

I have the shuttle running now. Block name and plus minus needed! Not fully clear in the WIKI.

Thanks,

Robert

Re: Critical section Example? Deadlock

Thanks. I corrected the block names. However the deadlock still occurs. I am starting the locs in virtual auto mode one after the other, so no sensors are being activated in this mode. Is this a valid test? See attached issue showing the start and after about three loc movements a loc goes into bk3 ...

Critical section Example? Deadlock

Hi, I am trying to set up an example of shuttling trains (pendeldienst) using the example in the WIKI. The example in the WIKI that can be downloaded (with two critical blocks) I have working OK. The example with one block cannot be downloaded so I made my own - ATTACHED. I cannot seem to avoid the ...

Re: BAT: Block Acceleration Timer

With bat and bbt rocrail can now operate like other controller packages and locs do not have to have pretuned cv 3 an 4.

Guest locs can then operate without huge speed changes.

Nice!

Re: BAT: Block Acceleration Timer (Throttle?)

Tried BAT in 15155.

Works ok.

However the loc throttle display does not update but only shows the target speed. In BBT the actual speed is shown.

Can the BAT speed also be updated on the throttle display?

Re: Melder beperken tot loc.

Rob, Je kan het waarschijnlijk met een actie en virtuele input en output oplossen. Soort JK flip flop (mijn roestige geheugen) Je creeert een output die aan gezet wordt als de lok over de melder rijdt. Deze output laat je aan staan voor een timer periode, bijv 10 sec, lang genoeg om de trein te late...

Re: [Feature request] Set (block) destination in mobile stations.

Confirmed! Long click on start does start the finder for correct routing in andRoc. Only comment is that on the smartphones I have the feedback for a short or long click is almost the same - the display is removed very quickly in both cases. You have to force yourself to keep the button pressed for ...

Re: [Feature request] Set (block) destination in mobile stations.

You can already do this with Rocweb, not XS, if a loco is in a block. Also with Androc: https://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=androc-intro-en#throttle_loco "Loco control". i have checked and confirmed that Rocweb does use the finder correctly when a block is set as destination. =Block button. If I activate the Finder option to use locations:
80-22-locations.png
Is this a new version?
Looks correct and if 85 closed is the correct solution, but I cannot repeat.
If 85 closed no route, if free then ok.

Re: [issue] Finder goes to terminal blocks.

this is covered by "Start only with a schedule after DnD" "Start only with a schedule after DnD If no path is found this option will prevent starting the loco after using Drag and Drop." Rob, Not sure what this means? I started the loc in 75 and let it go to 80, so it was not drag and dropped. I th...

Re: [issue] Finder goes to terminal blocks.

Crossed messages.

Your schedules shows the block numbers 84,72,84. It should show the location names Venlo, Duitsland, Venlo, like my example.
Why is this?

Also is your F() with or without 85 being occupied?

Re: [issue] Finder goes to terminal blocks.

Arabic and sanskrit again. The finder has NO problem creating the route 84, 72 ,84 IF AND ONLY IF 85 is free. See screenshot.. Alas this new Rocrail only shows some blocks of the schedule on screen. 80-22.jpg . The issue may be that the route is actually Venlo, Duitsland, Venlo (not blocks). So the ...

Re: [issue] Finder goes to terminal blocks.

There is no direction change.
The finder makes a correct route if 85 free while not using 85.
