Re: UK signal theme

Hi Dave

A little quirk of Rocrail means that you have to both use the 'disc_' prefix or 'gpl_' prefix as well as tick the 'Force multi aspects' tick box to activate the prefix. Apply does not appear to work so you will only see the change when you click OK.

Chesapeake and Ohio signal theme

Here is a signal theme for the C&O from the 1989 rulebook on Railroad Signals of the US website. Disregard the rule 283A flashing aspect and it will be good all the way back to 1957 (and possibly beyond). This is an unusual American system in that a dark head has meaning different to red, green and ...

NORAC generic signal theme

Here is a generic NORAC signal theme from a 1995 rulebook. I do not know which of the NORAC member railroads use (or used) the aspects in this theme - the larger member railroads tend to have their own set of aspects, but there are some quite interesting aspects used which can make your freelance No...

Santa Fe signal theme

Here is a Santa Fe theme based on the 1989 rulebook. Aspect numbers match the harman DCC Signalist SC1 decoder so you can use aspect signalling.

Here is a signal theme for Illinois Central Gulf based on the 1985 rulebook from the Railroad Signals of the US website.

Correction to B&O theme

There was an error in the previous file that I uploaded where there is a missing aspect for rule 291. Here is the corrected set of aspects.

Union Pacific theme

I am sure this one will be popular. The rulebook has grown over the years so there are quite a few aspects now, but for previous eras you can just ignore the new aspects. There do not appear to be any separate dwarf aspects so there are just three basic masts, single head, twin head and triple head....

Rob Excellent. It looks like the new themes will be useful. Richard I am not very familiar with the signalling used by the Illinois Central, but there is this page which I might implement if the N&W is not right:- http://www.railroadsignals.us/rulebooks/icg85/index.htm The position lights are the B&...

Norfolk and Western signal theme

Here is the Norfolk and Western signal theme as promised. It is quite a biggy with both colour position lights and searchlights as well as both types of dwarf. For automatic operation the position lights are semaphore signals and the searchlights are light signals. Aspects are taken from the Railroa...

USA searchlight signals

I am going to have a go at making some searchlight themes for USA railroads based on the CROR theme. I have a few on my list to do (see below), but are there any important ones I have missed that you would like included (and you have rulebooks for, no guarantees!)? Union Pacific - done Seaboard Syst...

Pennsylvania Railroad signals theme

Here are some PRR signals which might be useful. I have included single and twin head position lights with all yellow and 'devil eyes' versions as well as full dwarf and small dwarf.

Aspect numbers are compatible with the Signalist SC1 decoder.

That would explain where the icons are coming from. Thank you.

Looks like all aspects other than red use the -2-w graphic.
