Re: does eBReak work as designed?

Is that a guess? Or did you spot a problem?
I went over a list of "odd behavior" last night, I will type it out later this weekend. Maybe it helps in locating the issue...

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

Sorry, was on a business trip. Came home today and started stuff, somehow it seemed several schedules had swapped one block for another. Oddly enough, they all seem to have swapped LLx for TRx, cannot remember which one (3?) Maybe I'm going slightly mad... The attachment would be 4mb...so I excluded...

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

Clear, but that doesn't seem to work. Don't get me wrong, I am not saying something is bugged with RocRail, I am saying something is bugged in my config. In my rocrail.ini; ebreakforceunlock="true" Yet, it does not work. Hence my suggestion to rebuilt. However, doing all the schedules, actions, rout...

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

Just test it on another PC. You can copy the complete Workspace from the other PC with this function: https://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=ro ... _workspace But does that rebuild the DB? Or does that re-use the existing DB? Or IS there no DB :P I will test on another PC, but IF there is any corrupt...

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

it's an example, not an issue by itself. I guess I can leave it empty, but that hardly explains why it is persistent for loco 001 to 006, but not after that...is it.... Same happens with actions, as of the schedule for Loco 007, I have to re-assign the actions once in a while. Anyhow, the main quest...

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

like this example. I have changed this to the correct loco half a dozen times or more. It will revert to loco 008 in a while. It does not revert to a random loc, always "one lower". So action G009, reverts to loco G008. G010 reverts to G009.

I save every time before I shutdown, then select the shutdown from the menu...
Maybe once upon a time it crashed, corrupted something and never got fixed? I had a few crashes with one release, but that's several updates ago...

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

I am starting to believe "something" is corrupted, maybe the DB or another component. Another example; I have changed a schedule half a dozen times, but every single time it comes back after "some time" with the old version; idem for a few actions. I intend to start with a clean install, but adding ...

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

Is there anything else I can try? Update Rocrail. Open a new clean Workspace, add two blocks and let the analyser generate the routes. Activate Auto Trace Level by selecting File->Rocrail trace->Automatic. Add a loco, put it in bk1, switch on automode, start loco. Now push the EBreak button. Create...

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

Hm, I disagree, it does not work correctly :D
I understand if you cannot reproduce, it's impossible to troubleshoot though. I tried again and again, but "automode off" is all it does here. I have no slave code, as far as I know;

Re: does eBReak work as designed?

this is after
1) enable power
2) enable auto mode on
3) pressing the "Emergency Break"

It does seem to switch automode off, but thats all I think
