Arduino signal configuration

Post by smitt48 » 16.08.2019, 13:07

Hi Rob,

This a question from the French forum, I hope you can help.
I started the construction of a decoder for signals (SNCF), and here I stumble on communication problems between Rocrail and the Arduino, namely a difference between what Rocrail sends and what the central receives.
A signal 3 lights set by default in Rocrail as follows:
Red: addr = 1, port = 1, red;
green: addr = 1, port = 2, green;
yellow: addr = 1, port = 1, green.
In the trace, Rocrail sends 3 frames:
addr = 1 port = 1 gate = 0 id = 1 cmd = ON (1);
addr = 1 port = 1 gate = 1 id = 1 cmd = OFF (0);
addr = 1 port = 2 gate = 1 id = 0 cmd = OFF (0);
But Rocrail sends to the central the following 3 frames:
<a 1 1 1>
<a 1 0 1>
<a 1 0 0>
It conforms to what is expected from the basestation that commands an accessory by <a addr port action>, but does not conform to what Rocrail sends.
Thanks Tom

Hi Tom,

I do not see any Rocrail problem.
