Hi,

to get an idea on which protocols are most used we like you to vote for what you are using.

Hi everybody,

the new voting system provides some additional information, which might be useful for the whole community:

This poll for example shows which users are using which protocol and that allows you to get directly in touch with users using the same protocol (command station).

Happy networking,
Dirk :rr_cap:

Post by RAFHAAA96 » 07.07.2009, 13:59

Hi
I vote Lenz as there is no box for Hornby Elite, seing as it uses roughly Lenz protocols.

Hi,

we want to know which libraries are used.
The Lenz protocol is used for many Command Stations including Hornby Elite.

Hi RocRailers,

for Selectrix-User it would be fine to support command-stations like Muet MC2004 or Rautenhaus SLX852. Both command-stations provide 2 SX-Buses. These 2 SX-Buses are addressable over 1 interface (with SX-address 126). The specs of the Muet- or Rautenhaus-protokoll are available on their homepages.

What do you think about this?

Hi Norbert,

as far as I can remember was the documentation of the Rautenhaus SLX852 the guideline for implementation: slx

So I do not understand your request.

Hi Rob,

according http://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=controllers-en in RocRail is the SLX825 and not SLX852 implemented. One difference between both interfaces is that SLX825 can address only 1 SX Bus and SLX852 can address 2 SX-Buses.
For more information see:
SLX825: http://rautenhaus-digital.de/images/sto ... slx825.pdf
SLX852: http://rautenhaus-digital.de/images/sto ... slx852.pdf
One other difference is that SLX825 can be used only as interface and SLX852 as a "SX-Bus-command-station" (without track output) - that means SLX852 can generate the SX-Bus, SLX825 not.

Muet MC2004:
http://www.muet-digirail.de/pdfmgmt_dat ... eitung.pdf Chapter 9 "Computer & Co".

Hi Norbert,

just put your request at launchpad.net/rocrail in the bug (wish)list.
Do not forget to add the links.
