ok, let me try to explain the setup:

two Diesels (red & yellow) coupled back to back
red to the front
yellow has non default placing flag set and drives backwards

both are added to the virtual consist DopD

drive DopD forward drives red forward and yellow backwards (-speed) and the train moves

after server restart both fight each other, once manually changed in the interface dialog the train moves until rocrail restart.

I did understand your issue, but I cannot reproduce it.

Make sure the loco is not in a block, only the dummy may be in a block.

seems fixed now also for me. Rev 4850 seems not show this behaviour any more, ore some rotten occ. file was the reason.
Anyhow... ;-)
