Hi Rob,

Thank you!

Rev 4669 is definitely more stable, crashes are gone while Rocrail is running, but I've still got occasional crashes on start up.

Other than that - on just a quick test - address feedback works, but there are errors and false feedback messages (ghosts), so I can't get continuos stable operation in auto mode on a simple layout (4 locos, 16 blocks). This can be due to anything - my environment, BiDiB firmware, my Rocrail setup, Rocrail itself - there are many factors involved. Too early to say, lots of testing is still needed.

Btw, I use external DCC on my GBMBoost, so it's just for feedback, Z1 is still a DCC centre in my setup.

Best regards,
Dzidek

More details please. (Traces with all trace levels activated.)

With those problems, not related to this topic, you should read the Wiki, search the Forum and if you did not find what helped you: Open een new Forum thread.

Hi Dzidek,

I cannot reproduce the crash, neither under XP nor under Ubuntu.
Are you sure all DLL's and EXE's are of the same Revision?

Hi Rob,

Yes, I'm pretty sure.

Hi Dzidek,

which version of windows are you using? 32/64 bit?
Did you update your FDTI device driver to the latest version?

Hi Rob,

Win XP SP3 (32 bit)
FTDI driver v2.08.24 (the latest one)

Maybe there's something specific in my setup and I don't think it's worth your time. Please just leave it until other users confirm the issue. The startup crashes are really occassional now and I can't spot a pattern to give a clear replication path.

Best regards,
Dzidek
