[Request] Manual turnout symbol.

Post by rvooyen » 31.12.2015, 10:12

Hi,

Of low priority, but nice to have, would be a symbol for a Manual turnout. Basically this is the same as an operated turnout, but does not require an operating address and is not considered by the analyser re healthy plan.

This is really a Marklin (3rail) only issue, since Marklin does not require merging (only) tracks to be thrown as the points are spring loaded and there is no need for polarity change.

This is now needed for eg Finder and other functions that check the plan health before operating.

Thanks and reagrds,

Robert

Hi Robert,

you do not need it because its only an analyser warning which does not make the plan unhealthy.

Hi Robert,

I added a Manual operated flag to avoid analyser warnings.

Hi Robert,
Basically this is the same as an operated turnout, but does not require an operating address and is not considered by the analyser re healthy plan.
I use the virtual controller to "operate" manual switches. The advantage is it switches in Rocview with bogus addresses.

T01 is a "real" turnout with address 2-3, controller default (ECoS).
T03 is a manual turnout with address 0-2, controller virtual.
