[Solved] Difference between Train type and Route conditions

[Solved] Difference between Train type and Route conditions

Postby RainerK » 29.12.2017, 01:37

Hi Rob,

there is a unlogic difference between type "local" (de=Nahverkehr) from trains and blocks in relation to Route conditions "suburban" (de=Vorort).
Functional in Rocrail its not a problem, because it seems that the logic handle its correct.
But the users may have a problem with understanding this Term difference with the same meaning.

IMHO the Route condition type "suburban" should changed to the term "local" its used in (all ?) other cases.

EDIT: I changed my error "permissions" to the correct context "conditions"

Hi Tom,

thanks for the link. ;)
I deleted this old page because most of it has been sold in the past two years.

Hi Rob,

sorry, I was wrong with "permissions"
Please look in the Type dropdown list of Route conditions dialog:

route-perm-type.png
There You will find "suburban" instead "local"
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Hi Rainer,

OK.
I cannot correct this without an incompatibility "local" vs "person".
But it will solve this issue, and makes it clearer in source code.
Best Regards, Rob.
