switch is locked by route: reject any commands from others:

Post by woodyboy » 28.02.2019, 21:54

Dear forummembers,

Running in aquarium modus I did not understand the wiki correctly or did I encounter an issue. Reading the wiki I will expect an automatic driven locomotive does not use this route. Actually it looks like the locomotive allocates the route but the loco stops after an error "switch [l5-sw31-1] is locked by [[l5-bk13+]-[l5-bk27-]]: reject any commands from others" is displayed detecting that entering is not allowed.
Can somebody explain me how I can prevent such a situation? I had to like to keep the alternative routes form manual operations, but I do not want that an automatic operated locomotive takes this flagged routes.

Hi Bert,

Important trace levels are disabled; Trace is useless.
You did not use the Issue function to collect files.

Try your problem with a mini example: 3 blocks, 1 switch, 1 normal route, 1 manual route, 1 loco.

I think you misunderstand manual route.
The loco wait until the route is set manually.

Hi Rob,

Could be... But in that case I do not understand the wiki text too
Note: If this option is set then this route cannot be used in auto-mode
I'll expect that the auto-mode operated locomotive not uses a route which cannot be used. I observed the same message if the switch is in the correct position, the message is the same and the switch can not operated in a normal manual way because it is locked by the auto-mode locomotive. This lock is expected, but not by an excluded route according to the wiki.
