Rocweb wishes

Hi to all testers,

any wishes left for Rocweb? Or is all the needed functionality available?
Best Regards, Rob.

Rob,

Need to play with a stable version for a little then report back.

One general point.

Using long/short clicks. What is long, what is short. This morning I had issues with this specially in Opera. The long click would not work. FF was better but is still a bit arbitrary. Would prefer a separate button or similar, but maybe this is difficult. Maybe once really stable, with good comms, then this may work better.

Robert,

the long click time is handled in the used framework jQuery Mobile which I do not change.

In the throttle there is a list of long clicks:
http://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=roc ... ong_clicks
If I add for every long click function an own button you will need a larger display.

Hi Rob,

I have one multi aspect signal (with prefix) which does not show any aspects in Rocweb except for "red". The signal itself is working as expected when clicking on the symbol in Rocweb but the symbol does not change. The symbol is OK in Rocview.
Maybe multi aspect signals with prefix or signals with prefix in general are not supported so far? It was my wish to support those.

Hello Rob,

Maybe I've overseen it, but has Rocweb's throttle a STOP button? Or should we use just the direction button?

Hi Rob,

here's a plan (the signal only) and the SVG-Folder.
Thanks for looking at it!

I could add a long click on the dir button for V=0 without a change of direction.

Hi Rob,
Since I'm the only one "missing" the stop button, please wait for more opinions. I'm not sure I'm in the "target".

Hi Bernd,

it works already. ;)
But only the blinking aspect does not work because its a Rocrail solution and not an SVG conform one.
Blinking SVG parts are very easy to integrate in SVG, but this should be also implemented in Rocview.

See: viewtopic.php?f=111&t=9515&p=89652&hilit=rocweb+achim#p89655

As fast work around you could create a separate folder with the SVG conform files for Rocweb. (Or leave out blinking.)

Hi Rob,

great!
I don't care too much about the blinking :) It's nice but definitely not necessary. Would be great if Rocweb shows at least the static symbol (in this case green light on). But if not, I will create the same symbol without blinking effect, that's not a big deal. Much easier than creating all the PNG's for andRoc, at least

I really like the look of the plan in Rocweb! It's virtually 100% the same as in Rocview 8)

Excellent work, Rob. Thanks a lot!

Hi,

I added a fast clock to Rocweb:

Hi Rob,

the clock is a beauty 8), I like it very much!

However, at 100% zoom it does not fit the screen. With the browser in full screen mode it is rescaled to an even bigger size, so it is always cut off at the bottom (or at the top after scrolling down ;)). Tested with Rev. 9339, FF on Win, Opera on Android.

Best regards
Bernd

Wish.

I would like the clock in a separate window (just the clock) like an undock option, so it can be displayed with/a long side the track plan. So you can scroll the track plan or operate a throttle while the clock remains on display.

Is only a wish, for the future.

Hi Rob and Bernd,

I propose to add a parameter in the option popup to adjust the diameter of the clock in percent.
