I would like the clock in a separate window (just the clock) like an undock option, so it can be displayed with/a long side the track plan. So you can scroll the track plan or operate a throttle while the clock remains on display.

Is only a wish, for the future.

Just open a second browser...

Hi,

Can you save the settings in Rocweb?
Every time I use it I have to (for example) add the second hand to the clock.

Thanks Tom

Hi Tom,

you must allow this in your web browser.
All settings are saved as local storage but only if you allow it.

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the info!

Numerous searches on the web later. HELP

Where can I find FF and Chrome local settings. I have been to "never wanted to know" places in the browser. is it an add-on (most likely?) or an extension or a what?

Thanks Tom

Hi,

I don't believe you have to play with those developer tools of FF. I personally never did. No matter if using FF, Opera or Chrome, on Android as well as on Win7, the settings are always saved properly without any interaction by myself ;).
It must be within the basic settings, like, e.g., private browsing (won't work), Do Not Track feature (disable "Tell sites that I do not want to be tracked"), cookies, cache, history and so on.

Best regards

Hi,

I added a trace option:
http://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=roc ... -en#trace1
rocweb-trace-en.png

It also shows the command station status if the used protocol supports it.
(Don't worry about the 97°C because its a random value generated in the virtual CS.)

Hi Rob,

Thanks for the info. I found the places where the data is (temporarily) stored, but as soon as I close the browser they are not kept.

Storage Inspector
tools.PNG

cookie.PNG

Second hand is added. I am surprised that "sliderdelta" is saved automatically.

I think I am in the right place, but I need to find a place to store it.

@Besra, I looked in the other options but did not find anything. I turned history on (normally off), and now the second hand returns. Is this the "secret"?? The problem is the history does not always stay around, when you need to clear cache, etc.

Thanks Tom
