Roco Z21 and Ulenbrock 63 320 Feedback sensors

Post by RCGeek » 01.01.2019, 06:39

The sensors work correctly with the Z21 on its own but there is no feedback for Rocrail. I suspect it is an addressing issue.

(I am assuming that the sensor image in my track plan should perform in a similar manner to the ones in the Demo Workspace - change from green to red and become enlarged when the loco trips the sensor.)

Cheers
Richard

Hi Richard,

maybe you can find here your answer:
https://wiki.rocrail.net/doku.php?id=ro ... addressing

If not; Just use the sensor monitor:

Thanks rj

Thanks for your reply.

Your first link leads to a part of the Tutorial which I have read and reread - to no avail.

The second link leads to something which I feel is too complex for my issue.

I am using Bus 0, Address 17, Offset blank.

Maybe there are some Z21 users who have solved this problem who can help?

Regards
Richard

Richard,
The second link leads to something which I feel is too complex for my issue.
you only have to watch the monitor...

Open this dialog, and let run a loco over one or more sensors on your layout.

In the 1966 film "55 Days at Peking" starring Charleton Heston, the dowager Empress of China asks the question: "Who can make muddy water clear?"

I would say you certainly can Tom. Thanks.

I have to go to Sydney for a few days but I will get onto it as soon as I am back and I will post my results,

Regards
Richard

Followed the procedure in your wiki and discovered that I had the address right but the bus number wrong. Fixed that and it works perfectly. Thanks.
