Hi Rob,
please prolong my access to the rocrail sources.
My ID at gitlab is 3082267.
Reasons are the usage of ODROID U3 for which hardkernel does not provide an image for Ubuntu 18.04 and secondly I have to modify the tamsmc module as it includes faults in the interpretation of messages received from TAMS Master Control during the programing of decoders.

thx
Juergen

just share it with us.

An Odroid installer you can find here:

I communicated the issue already back in 2013 viewtopic.php?f=5&t=6690. Since then I did the modification in the module tamsmc, whenever I updated rocrail. Find attached the modified source module from 2016. In line 148 a comment on what has to be changed and in lines 157 and 171 the changes.

There is still a remaining issue though when the response time from the decoder via TAMS is longer then the timeout parameter in the rocrail properties. The last message from the decoder in programing mode is interpreted as the first incoming message after switching to normal operation mode. In my case that are S88 feedback messages. As I'm not a SW developer I didn't find a way to correct that, but my workaround is to set the timeout to 10sec for the decoder programing and 2sec for normal operation. Seems the TAMS has a 7sec timeout for programing.

It would be nice if you can do the changes for the endbyte.

thanks
Juergen

Hi Juergen,

where is the return string documented?
I did not find it here:
http://tams-online.de/WebRoot/Store11/S ... erface.txt

Hi Juergen,

OK, I found it:
Jede Ausgabe wird mit dem Prompt (<CR> + ']') abgeschlossen.
I will take over your modifications.

Hi Rob,
unfortunately the Odroid deb file does not install. After some deep dive it turned out my Odroid U3 is ARMV7 which is 32bit and your deb file is 64bit, I guess from the C2.
Any other idea?

Hi Rob,
please renew my access to the rocrail sources.
Gitlab:
username: emey05
id: 2080732

Motivation: as before - I had integrated my own android-based command station. Additionally I´m still working on BiDiB on Android and need much test logging in the BiDiB module.

Thanks,
Eckart

I do not see the need for source access in your case.
